We are  happy to be running six more Stepping into Wellness programs in 2018, thanks to the generous support of Pink Affair.

Stepping into Wellness is a free six-week program for women who have had a breast or gynaecological cancer diagnosis.

Exercise is known to benefit most people both during and after cancer treatment. Stepping into Wellness can help you to increase your flexibility, mobility, and general wellbeing.

Stepping into Wellness shows you how to exercise safely in a fun and friendly class. Each week you can try different types of exercise to see what suits you and learn how to continue to exercise at home or in your local area. You will also meet other women from the local area who have been diagnosed with breast or a gynaecological cancer.

The first two programs will be run in Frankston and Epping.

Frankston

Mondays 14 May to 25 June
(No class Monday 11 June)

Epping

Wednesdays 16 May to 20 June

You need to be at least eight weeks after surgery to participate.

Stepping into Wellness is run by a qualified exercise instructor who has experience working with women who have had breast or a gynaecological cancer.

If you are interested in joining Stepping into Wellness in Frankston or Epping, or would like any further information, please contact the Counterpart Resource Centre on 1300 781 500 or info@counterpart.org.au
